1. What we are doing
We aim to provide clear headings, keyboard-accessible controls, visible focus states, readable contrast, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support where animation is used, meaningful link text and form labels.
We also try to keep Ask Wakefield's language direct and understandable. The AI assistant is instructed to use short, scannable answers rather than dense blocks of text.
2. Known limitations
Ask Wakefield is still developing. AI-generated answers can occasionally produce formatting that is less accessible than the surrounding website. Third-party websites linked from Ask Wakefield are outside our control and may have different accessibility standards.
Illustrative imagery is decorative in some places. Where an image carries important meaning, we aim to provide appropriate text alternatives.
3. If you need information in another way
If you cannot access information on Ask Wakefield, email hello@mediahubink.com. Tell us which page or feature caused difficulty and, if helpful, the format or adjustment you need.
4. Reporting a problem
We welcome practical accessibility feedback. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, the problem you encountered and the device or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it.
5. Review
We review accessibility as the service changes. New features, including directory, submission and AI functionality, should be checked before or shortly after public release.
